Dr. Christine Lamun
Dr. Lamun grew up in Reno, Nevada. She went to undergrad at Oregon State University, where she also competed in gymnastics. Graduated Magna Cum Laude and a PAC-10 champion on floor with a perfect 10.0 and as an All American on Balance beam. She completed her Doctorate of Dental medicine at University of Nevada Las Vegas , and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then continued with a residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Texas A&M Health Science center of Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas , Texas.
Dr. Lamun is married to her college sweetheart, with whom they share two beautiful children and their dog Django. When she's not in the office you will find her enjoying her daughter's musical theatre productions and her son's T-ball games. She loves to paint, sculpt and sew in her spare time.
Dr. Lamun loves caring for her patients with compassion and kindness. Educating patients on how to best take care of their oral health. She enjoys building relationships with patients to strengthen trust between one another. She believes in being authentically herself. She is always continuing her education to ensure that she is providing the best care she can to her patients.
Dr. Sydney Gautreau
Dr. Sydney Gautreau is a general dentist committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care with a focus on both aesthetics and overall oral health. Dr. Gautreau was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. She relocated to Dallas, Texas shortly after to begin her professional career where she delivers a warm, personable approach that helps patients feel comfortable and confident in her chair.
Dr. Gautreau has a strong interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, with specialized experience in crowns and Botox treatments. Dr. Gautreau, or as her patients know her – Dr. G, is known for her attention to detail and artistic eye as she strives to create natural, beautiful, and lasting results tailored to each patient.
Outside of the office, Dr. G enjoys Pilates, DIY costume designing, exploring the Dallas area, and bringing a bit of her New Orleans spirit into everything she does.
She is passionate about creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel heard, cared for, and excited about their smile.
Dr. Gautreau is very excited to be joining the MG Family Dentistry team in DeSoto and is looking forward to seeing you in the office soon!
