Our Opalescence Boost in-office whitening is chemically activated at chairside using an exclusive syringe mixing system. This process ensures that you will get fresh gel, which begins the whitening process. Before applying it to the teeth, we will place a protective barrier on your gums. We will then place a layer of gel on the surface of your teeth for 20 minutes. The gel will then be removed and reapplied for an additional 20 minutes. To reduce sensitivity, potassium nitrate is found in Boost, an agent that has been proven to reduce sensitivity.
The GLO in-office whitening system is the perfect system for patients that do not like impressions and that want a faster result. GLO uses a mouthpiece that combines LED light and heat resistors in a closed system. Therefore, it is an impression-less system and the gel is applied for 8 minutes. After each application, the mouthpiece warms up to the optimal temperature to activate the process for faster results.
